As a lifelong Central Coast native, Rich was raised right here in beautiful San Luis Obispo. After starting a career in financial services in 2002, he quickly discovered something that changed everything for him… most people — himself included, never received any real education about money. Growing up, money wasn’t something his family talked openly about. Neither home or school taught the fundamentals of budgeting, investing, protecting income, or building lasting wealth. That educational gap inspired Rich to help fill the need so many families experience today.

This realization ignited a deep passion. He fell in love with helping people understand money in simple, practical ways — demystifying concepts that often feel overwhelming or out of reach. Rich has dedicated his career to educating and empowering families, walking alongside them as they protect what matters most, eliminate debt, and build toward true financial independence. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone gain confidence, take control of their finances, and start living the life they’ve always envisioned!

None of this would be possible without his incredible wife, Dannene, who is truly the backbone of the business and their family of eight children. Her unwavering support, wisdom, and partnership have been essential every step of the way.Together, they’re committed to serving our community with honesty, clarity, and genuine care.

Outside the office, Rich and Dannene are proud to give back to the community by serving on multiple boards. One board Rich gives his time and attention to is the finance board at their church where he helps steward resources for meaningful impact. They also cherish the simple joys of Central Coast living, spending time at the beach, watching their kids grow into amazing people, traveling, and carving out special moments to enjoy together.
